STEFFLON DON ANNOUNCES NEW MIXTAPE 'SECURE'
"The star that British rap needs." - Noisey
"UK's great hip-hop hope." - NME
"The rise of Stefflon Don represents a sea of change in
British rap." - The Guardian
After the announcement of STEFFLON DON’S brand new mixtape ‘Secure’ last week and the release of single ‘Pretty Girl feat. Tiggs Da Author’, the east London rapper today releases another track from the upcoming record entitled ‘Lil Bitch’. The video for ‘Lil Bitch’ is available to watch here with ‘Secure’ dropping physically and via all digital platforms August 17th, pre-order here.
The track and video both tap into Steff’s harder side and shows off her natural talent as a rapper, something that she is unashamedly brash about in what is the opening track to ‘Secure’. The video, with Steff as the protagonist, is a dark homage to the rap videos that have influenced and shaped her, but always with Steff taking it to the next level the only way she can. As an introduction to the mixtape this is raw and unfiltered, Steff does not mince her words and only further cements her place as the future of UK rap.
After a storming performance of her latest single to open
the show as well as picking up the award for Best Newcomer at this week's NME
Awards, British rap superstar STEFFLON DON continues an already impressive week
with the release of the long-awaited 'Ding-A-Ling' video featuring grime legend
SKEPTA.
STEFFLON DON – 'ENVY US feat. ABRA CADABRA'
THE BRAND NEW VIDEO Out NOW
STEFFLON DON, the incredible new talent coming out of London via Birmingham and Rotterdam today releases her first single 'Real Ting' from her upcoming debut mixtape of the same name.
On the surface, 'Real Ting' clearly takes influence from Steff's UK influences but underneath, her Jamaican heritage and travelled childhood clearly bubbles up through. With an eclectic and unique sound that sits as much at home in the US as it does in the UK and an accompanying visual featuring Steff and an army of cohorts, 'Real Ting' serves as the perfect introduction to Steff's distinctive style and also a "blink and you'll miss it" appearance from DJ Khaled.
Making a name for herself over the past 18 months jumping on tracks with the likes of Section Boys, Angel, Lethal Bizzle and Dutch MC Cho has pushed her into the limelight and turned her into one of the most exciting new artists to come out of 2016. The mixtape, featuring the likes of Jeremih and Tremz, alongside production from Rymez (Wiley, Sneakbo), is the first full release from the hotly-tipped new artist and is due for release this December.
