Nelson Morais (born in Hemiksem Belgium 14/7/83) is a well known Belgian Soul singer and actor.
He started his career as a young actor in the 3rd season of 16+ , a youth serie that was aired on Belgian national television.
Nelson is also a gifted singer and in 2008 he competed in the Belgium Eurosong (pre selections) contest were he reached 3rd place with the R&B ballad ''When i can't find love''.
''When i can't find love'' became a instant hit in Belgium (Top 10 (n7) position for several weeks) and launched Nelson as a pop idol.
In 2009 Nelson teamed up with producer Daniel Bovi to release the dance single Love Me (N4 in the Belgian Single Chart and n1 in the Belgium Dance Charts).
The follow up singles ''She's Gone'' and ''She's so lonely'' also became top hits in Belgium. After releasing these hit singles Nelson decided to concentrate on finishing his debut album.
At the end of 2012 Nelson released ''Let me be myself'' , the title track of the motion picture ''Mixed Kebab''.
Let me be myself became one of the biggest airplay hits in 2012 by a Belgian artist.
It was also around that time that he finished his (to be released) album ''Something for the ladies''.
The single ''Popular Girl'' followed and in the summer of 2013 Nelson released the tittle track of his album ''Something for the ladies''.
Something for the ladies has entered the charts on n14 (highest new entry) in august 2013 and the video clip was SUPERCLIP on MTV/TMF Belgium.
His next single ''Wild side'' will be released at the end of october 2013 and features Sharon Doorson , Hollands n1 dance queen.
Nelson's debut album Something for the ladies is set for release in the beginning of 2014.
