RYAN SHERIDAN’S ‘THE DAY YOU LIVE FOREVER’ IS HIGHEST RANKED DEBUT ALBUM IN GERMANY BY INTERNATIONAL ARTIST

Ryan Sheridan’s debut album ‘The Day You Live Forever’ is currently the highest ranked debut album by an International artist on the Official German charts. Released by Universal Music Germany, The Day You Live Forever’ went straight to the number 1 spot in the German iTunes album charts on its release.

Since January, Ryan Sheridan has been flying back and forth to Germany for multiple primetime TV and Radio appearances and live dates ahead of his first headline tour in Germany this October. The tour looks set to sell out months in advance with promoters having to add extra dates and move shows to bigger venues to meet demand.

Ryan Sheridan has toured Germany twice so far this year with Rea Garvey in January/February followed by Silly in May and performed to approximately 60,000 people in a matter of months.

Ryan Sheridan released his debut album, ‘The Day You Live Forever’, in Ireland in May 2011 with leading Irish independent label Rubyworks, who licensed the album to Universal Music Germany, and will continue to be involved in his releases. The album reached platinum sales status in Ireland and it’s testament not only to its inherent melodic rock/pop strengths but also to Ryan’s durable presence on the gig circuit, where amidst his own energy-driven, charismatic shows, he has joined The Script, Bryan Adams, Simply Red as special guest amongst others and most recently joined Rea Garvey as special guest on his European tour.

Ryan Sheridan’s debut album announced a new and substantial Irish talent that can easily stand up to international scrutiny. The best songs, he says, are borne out of travelling and experiencing different things – of flexing life’s muscles and spreading the wings a little bit. Ryan has done just that and more over the past ten years and will continue to do so as he delivers the Sheridan Songbook into Europe and beyond.
